My grades were okay but I knew that I could do better in school. I attended the DLC program to learn study skills to improve my grades and skills so I could go to college. I learned a lot about my learning style and how to improve my study habits. I learned the importance of showing my teachers that I cared about my grades and how “good enough isn’t.” I also learned how to write award-winning essays and interview for success. Due to the DLC, I was awarded a 4-year scholarship for a private high school and was recently accepted to many colleges. I now have choices for college that I never dreamed were possible before the DLC. Thank you grandma for finding and paying for the DLC. It changed my future.
